Oliver said that to me yesterday. I repeated it and laughed a little. We were walking into the YMCA and it took me a minute to realize he was being literal and asking about the actual words on the pavement. I still makes me laugh. In case you are wondering, the word on street yesterday was “No Parking.”
We had a good 3 day weekend, which included a hike at Sweetwater with Alex, Stephanie (aka Fannie) and little Ian. Alex kept a vigorous pace up the hill and I did my best to keep up. I had Benton in the backpack and got in a good workout and a nice conversation with Stephanie. Unfortunately, I left the camera at the house and have no pictures to share.
The above picture is Benton sacked out after lunch today. He woke up early and has been napping sporadically lately, but must have been tired today.
Oh, Dan and I went to see James Taylor Monday evening. I figured it was my one chance to see him, so I splurged and got good seats, which turned out to be uncomfortable. Can’t have everything, I guess. I really enjoyed hearing James Taylor live and enjoyed an evening out with Dan. The weather was just perfect for the outdoor concert.
Well, that’s the word around here. After I tidy up, I think I will get my sewing machine out and start a little crafting. I hope to get a project or two done soon.
